The ESTABLISHMENT or the School Service Center may only use the link or the access code for the number of students and teachers provided. The link or access code, once activated, is valid for a duration of 24 months, unless otherwise specified. You may not make any other use or distribution of THE WORK without the prior written consent of Pearson. This license is personal to the teachers and students concerned at your ESTABLISHMENT or the School Service Center. The latter may neither assign it nor transfer it to a third party without written authorization from Pearson. Any assignment and transfer without the authorization of Pearson will be null and void. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pearson and its employees, agents, suppliers and subcontractors shall in no event be liable for any claims, charges, demands, damages, obligations, losses and expenses whatsoever whether the nature or reason thereof, including, without limitation, compensatory, incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages, loss of use, loss of data, loss caused by a computer or electronic virus, loss of income or profits, loss of or damage to property, claims by third parties or other losses of any nature or character whatsoever, even if Pearson has been advised of the possibility of such damages or losses, resulting from the use of this digital platform or a website to which it is linked, or having a connection with such use. You assume full responsibility for performing such procedures as you deem necessary for backing up data and checking for computer viruses.
